MRUG Host Site Responsibilities



Provide staff for the registration table


Sunday evening early registration     5:00pm - 7:30pm
Monday8:00am - 4:00pm
Tuesday8:00am - 4:00pm
Wednesday8:00am - 11:00am


Someone from your organization should provide remarks about your organization at the general session (Monday morning).  The individual should give a 10 to 15 minute presentation regarding your organization.


Create registration packets to be given to each MRUG member and one packet to each vendor (one per company).  MRUG recommends you make a minimum of 150 packets for the conference.  This number may be higher depending upon number of attendees. 

           
Each packet will contain the following:


Attendees list     MRUG board will e-mail
Meeting room layoutMRUG board will e-mail
Places to eat (white paper)      Host will supply
Vendor Bingo CardMRUG board will e-mail

(double sided on card stock paper - recommend yellow cardstock paper)
 

MRUG will create the agenda booklet to be distributed in the registration packet.


You can add any other information about your area that may be of interest to MRUG members.  For previous conferences, MRUG has used “Where” magazine, visitors guides, special coupon books from malls, etc.  Your local Visitors and Convention bureau will help with some of this information. 


MRUG will make all the necessary arrangements with the hotel regarding conference space, selection of food, AVM equipments and the conference agenda presentation.
